Build, building, foundation, cornerstone, temple, and dwelling place are a few of the analogies that bring this week’s message close to “home” for all of us. Home is a Place of 1) Rest and Comfort, 2) Safety and Security, 3) Love and Acceptance. The House of God should offer the same benefits. The redemption began in Jerusalem and will be completed in a New Jerusalem. God created heaven and earth, and has promised us a New Heaven and a New Earth. Blow it up and start over.
