God’s goal is to redeem the whole earth. He did His part and now we are doing ours! Vs. 5 “Who is willing . . . this day . . . to consecrate themselves to the Lord?” David was, are you? God said David was, “A man after my own heart, who will do my will.” Salvation is not only about me alone, it is about me, us, and the whole world. We get lost in our own lives. Sometimes we find ourselves somewhere we don’t want to be and all of our attention goes to getting out of that place, not even considering what the Lord may want from us while we are there! Redeem it! Don’t have an “escape” mindset, keep the Big Picture in mind. Shine so that the whole world can see.
